Peeraj Brands International, one of the franchise holders of
the Mango brand in Romania, will open a Mango store in Bucharest's
Unirea Shopping Center, which will replace the Fornarina clothing
brand, managed by Corssa, a company controlled by the Mihet family.
Staff Collection, also controlled by the Mihet family, owns another
four stores, House of Art, Dockers, Fox and Levi's on the same
floor of the centre. The 230 square-metre store, which is currently
under renovation, and displays large banners featuring Scarlett
Johansson (image of the Mango brand) and the message "A Mango store
to open here soon," had previously been occupied by two brands,
Georgia and Musette until last year, both of which have been
relocated within the same shopping centre, controlled by the
Adamescu family.
"We were waiting for a store that would attract
customers. I think our sales will rise, as well, as a result,
because BMB products go well with Mango's offer," says the
saleswoman at the jewellery stand close by.
