Lactalis produces LaDorna branded milk in Croatia

French Lactalis group, the owner of the LaDorna company has expanded its UHT milk range by six new products this summer, two of which produced at the Dukat factory that Lactalis owns in Croatia. "Two products are imported from Croatia (omega-3 milk and Dimineti Linistite), because LaDorna does not have the necessary industrial equipment to make them yet, while the market in Romania is ready for such products," stated Wilfried Lebas, general manager of LaDorna producer, a company whose business revolves around 40 million euros. Lactalis took over LaDorna from businessman Jean Valvis in a deal put at more than 70 million euros last year. This is the first time when the new management of LaDorna dairy producer has answered a request from the local press, after the company's officials have repeatedly declined comment over the past year. Lebas added that Lactalis intended to invest in the development of the LaDorna technology.
