Ion Bazac, former Health Minister, put by the PSD (Social Democratic Party), in the first government led by Emil Boc, has returned to the helm of Forza Rossa, importer of Ferrari to the Romanian market, a company he now wishes to expand onto Western-European markets. "Forza Rossa still has room for development onto international markets. Us Romanians are competent enough to develop onto other markets that the local one. That is why we want to expand Forza Rossa onto Western European markets," said the company's chairman. This year Forza Rossa will deliver 25 Ferrari automobiles to the Romanian market, and 15 of the 25 to be delivered next year are already booked, in the context where many cars worth hundreds of thousands of euros are returned to leasing companies by clients who can no longer pay their instalments. Forza Rossa will end this year with an around 8 million-euro turnover, one million euros of which generated by servicing operations. Company officials expect an over 10 million-euro turnover next year, following the opening of the Ferrari Store and the rise in servicing business.
