Luxury car dealers have posted ten ads for cars with prices above 150,000 euros on the Internet over the past month; they are trying to sell the cars after the Romanian customers who ordered them cancelled the purchase for lack of cash. Those refusing to pay for the cars have agreed to lose as much as 60,000 euros, which accounts for the 20% of the down payment made to the dealer when the order was confirmed. The most expensive new cars currently for sale on the mobile.de website are two Ferraris, a Scaglietti One to One worth almost 290,000 euros and a 599 GTB Fiorano worth over 270,000 euros, followed by a Bentley GTC Speed worth 240,000 euros. "They are using every channel to sell the cars. The ads on the mobile.de website are rather targeting Romanian clients, as foreign clients are attracted only if the price is very good," says Adrian Pascu, brand manager of Bentley, Porsche and Lamborghini with Porsche Romania.
