Best malls in Bucharest: Cotroceni Park, Baneasa Shopping City and Bucuresti Mall

Eight of the most important consultants on the shopping centre market have drawn up the ranking of the best malls of Bucharest for Business Construct. Cotroceni Park, Baneasa Shopping City and Bucuresti Mall hold the top three positions. What makes them stand out from the rest of malls in the city? Cotroceni Park has the most likeable design, the best car park and the most attractive entertainment areas both for adults and children, arguments that turned the most expensive mall ever built in Romania into the leader of Bucharest shopping centres. After Cotroceni Park, a mall that took investments worth 300m euros, second came the project of Gabriel Popoviciu, Baneasa Shopping City, which consultants see as the mall with the best management, tenant mix, food-court area and positioning. The mall missed the top position because of its more difficult access and the lack of an entertainment area. Unirea Shopping Center, followed by the first modern mall built in Bucharest, Bucuresti Mall, boast the highest financial efficiency. The two projects entailed much smaller investments than the malls raised during the real estate boom, so that yields registered by owners are still high even amid crisis conditions.
