iPhone 4 available through Pcfun and eMAG in Romania

IPhone 4, the latest phone launched by Apple US company, is out for sale in online stores of Romania, at prices starting from 4,989 RON (1,200 euros) for the 16 GB model.

The high price has not stopped Romanians from buying the phone, even though it is selling price stands at 550 euros in the US.

According to Radu Apostolescu, marketing manager with eMAG, 16 orders were received on the very first day.

"Demand could go as high as several thousand units, but so far stocks are limited," he told ZF.

The phone is also being sold by pcfun.ro, an online store owned by FitDistribution IT distribution firm, at prices starting from 5,219 RON (1,233 euros).

"Most people are waiting for prices to go down to place an order. So far, clients have had questions about the phone," M`d`lin Durc`, marketing manager with pcfun.ro, told ZF.
