Varujan Pambuccian's IT consulting firm's turnover down 50% in 2009
CCT Consultants company, a provider of IT consulting services entirely controlled by Varujan Pambuccian, a member of the Chamber of Deputies' IT&C Committee, last year saw its turnover halve against 2008 after closing a business line.
"We had a consistent area of European funding, but when we saw
this part is very hard to approach, we gave it up and we have two
people left in charge with this segment," Varujan Pambuccian, a
single shareholder in CCT Consultants, told ZF.
"I did not want to use the levers I had to continue to work in this
field," he also said.
CCT last year posted 870,000-euro turnover and 2,000-euro net
income, against 1.74m euros and 400,000 euros in 2008, according to
Finance Ministry data. The average number of employees in 2009
stood at 26 people.
Pambuccian explained the company focused on IT security last year.
"For this year, we'll continue to focus on the IT security segment,
but we also plan to enter other fields, such as that of renewable
energy," Pambuccian also said.
