Developers try to sell more around Bucharest
Of the over 5,000 new housing units promoted at the tIMOn real estate fair, due to start on Thursday in Piaţa Constituţiei of Bucharest and continue until Sunday, September 12, around 60-70% are located in the neighbouring areas of Bucharest.
"There are also small projects, in downtown Bucharest, in areas
such as Victoriei or Cişmigiu, with fewer than 50 units. There are
complexes in established housing areas, Militari or Titan, with
more than 100 or even 200 units, but most offers are at the
outskirts of Bucharest," said Vlad Vlăsceanu, manager of the
event.
The explanation is linked to the higher availability of land in
Bucharest neighbouring areas than in downtown areas, he
explains.
Over 100 real estate projects will display their offers at tIMOn
fair, belonging to the almost 50 attending developers. Of these, 22
exclusively come to tIMOn, the organisers say.
Besides the new units on offer, 4,000 old homes will also be
promoted at the fair, with participants also including 25-30
brokers and real estate agencies.
