Truck scanning system maker MB Telecom expects 20m-euro turnover this year
MB Telecom company, which last year won the grand prix at the
Geneva international exhibition of inventions with a truck scanning
system called Roboscan, has budgeted 20m-euro turnover for this
year, up 135% from a year ago, with almost 60% of turnover being
generated by this system.
Last year, MB Telecom was included by Ziarul Financiar among the
companies boasting the best performances in Muntenia-Dobrogea area
for the results posted in 2008. ZF nominates and awards prizes each
year along regions to companies with turnover topping 40m RON (10m
euros) that are profitable and register significant leaps in their
businesses. ZF wants to see how these companies have fared during
the crisis period.
This year, ZF is organising three conferences during which it will
award prizes to the best performing companies of Romania. The first
event will take place tomorrow, September 29, in Mamaia, and the
next will be organised in October 28 in Sibiu and November 25 in
Bucharest.
MB Telecom has so far sold six Roboscan units, five of which have
already been delivered.
