Israeli-born Amir Krenzia, owner of Alka food industry group, is for the first time giving up part of the business built in Romania in the past 16 years.

He has sealed a deal with Germany's Intersnack for the sale of Nutline seed and dry fruit, with 22m-euro turnover in 2009, in line with market sources.
The deal, which ZF puts at over 10m euros, is bringing a third strong brand in the domestic portfolio of Intersnack group, after Felix and Fiesta.
The takeover has not been confirmed by Intersnack representatives by edition close. In their turn, Alka representatives stated the sale of Nutline was sent to the Competition Council for approval, without providing further information.
Alka is one of the largest snacks producers owned by domestic investors and the biggest rival of Intersnack and PepsiCo US giant on the dry fruit and seeds market, valued at over 50-70m euros.
Nutline last year held a 38% share of the Romanian dry fruit market and was one of Krenzia's biggest stakes to boost Alka's exports, according to the data previously provided by the group's representatives.
