"The benefits of a project financed with EU money are very big, it depends on each company's strategy how it uses them. We have cut prices thanks to this newly acquired equipment, we made promotional offers and attracted more clients (...)," says Simona Coşoveanu.

She received 26,000 euros from the EU to buy a laptop, an IT system and equipment used in the treatment of cellulite and in spa treatment for cosmetics and beauty salon Michelle Salon in Suceava, which she and her husband opened seven years ago.
Michelle Salon is one of the 400 firms that have completed investment projects for which they received money from the EU, out of the over 1,100 projects submitted and won over the last three years by small and medium-sized companies, microenterprises and big companies, according to data sent to ZF by the authorities that manage EU funds.
The companies received funds to acquire production lines, computers, furniture, and for the building of production facilities, via the programme aimed at boosting economic competitiveness and via the regional operational programme.
