H&M Swedish fashion giant, with 11bn-euro annual turnover, in just four months inked ten contracts to open stores domestically, with the latest deal signed with Iulian Dascalu, "the king of malls", who will accommodate three H&M stores in his projects.

Dascalu yesterday announced he reached an agreement with the Swedish firm for the opening of stores in Iulius Mall centres of Cluj and Timisoara, as well as in Palas project of Iasi, whose launch is scheduled for next autumn.

So far, another five H&M stores have become official, in AFI Palace, Baneasa Shopping City, Bucuresti Mall and Plaza Romania of Bucharest, as well as in Maritimo project of Constanta. The H&M stores in Unirea shopping centres of Bucharest and Brasov have not been confirmed, yet, by Unirea representatives, or H&M ones.

The first H&M stores should be opened next spring, in Bucharest, with the biggest of them rented in AFI Palace Cotroceni mall.
