The execs making decisions for Carrefour stores

Three Frenchmen and a Romanian woman and running the operations of the first and biggest hypermarket network domestically, Carrefour Romania, one of the multinationals with strict communication policies, which do not quite often release information about turnover level and development or number of employees.

Patrice Lespagnol took over the network's management in 2008. As general manager, he coordinated the launch of Carrefour-branded supermarkets and the expansion of former Artima.

Arnaud Dussaix, 37, who has been running the commercial department since 2006, was part of the team that launched the hypermarket network in 2001.

Andreea Mihai, 35, runs the retailer's marketing department. She joined the retailer in 2000, being at that time the youngest marketing manager in the group.

Jean-Claude Mota has run the financial department since the middle of last year. Before coming to Romania, he worked as a CFO with the Indonesian subsidiary.
