One of the biggest travel agencies domestically, Perfect Tour, controlled by Corina Pacuraru, in the first nine months of this year reached 16m-euro turnover, up 20% from a year ago, and 17% higher profit, according to the company's officials.

"The sales increase came as new clients such as Swiss confectionery producer Heidi, Decathlon French sporting goods retailer, Walmark food supplements producer and others were added to the corporate client portfolio (...)," stated Sorin Vaduvoiu, general manager of Perfect Tour.

The agency ended last year with turnover worth almost 18.4m euros and 30,000-euro profit, according to Trade Registry data.

"Corporate contracts bring 50% of our travel agency's turnover. (...) The corporate client portfolio is constantly rising, we managed to seal partnerships with major players in the pharma, services industries, as well as FMCG this year," stated Vaduvoiu.

Travel packages sold to individuals contribute 50% to the agency's revenues. In the first nine months of this year, it sold packages to 50,000 clients.
