Xerox's subsidiary back into the hands of a Romanian
Gabriel Pantelimon, the company's sales and marketing manager in CEE, Turkey and Israel has replaced Petr Sichrovsky, who returned to the Czech Republic.
The domestic operations of Xerox US company, one of the world's
biggest providers of printers and copiers, are again run by a
Romanian, starting the beginning of this month, after Petr
Sichrovsky, who was appointed as CEO in July 2009, left the company
to work for another firm in his country of origin, the Czech
Republic. Previously, Xerox Romania had been run by Marius
Perşinaru, who was promoted to operating vice-president for
emerging markets with the company last month, in charge with 100
countries, a cumulated business of 1.5bn dollars.
Pantelimon joined Xerox in 1997, in the sales department. Since
then, he has held several positions in the company, in 2008 being
appointed as Global Accounts Manager - Xerox CEE, Israel and Turkey
and in 2009 as a marketing and sales manager for the same
region.
In his new position, Pantelimon will be in charge of coordinating
marketing and sales activities, global services and customer
service operations for Xerox Romania and the Republic of
Moldova.
