Siveco, the biggest Romanian software producer, with nearly 61
million euros in turnover in 2009, has this year pursued a policy
of expansion on foreign markets, sealing contracts with public
institutions in countries such as Turkey, Morocco, Azerbaijan and
the United Arab Emirates.
"In 2010 the share of revenues contracted directly by Siveco from
projects with national and international public institutions is of
around 44%. Of the 44%, 27% come from ongoing contracts in Romania
and 17% from international contracts," Irina Socol, president and
general manager of the company, told ZF. Siveco has sealed more
than 100 new contracts this year in Romania as well as abroad,
where it has contracts on segments such as eLearning and
eHealth.
