Charcuterie producer Angst Ro could drop the underground supermarket project it started along with a foreign partner in the Baneasa area last year. The project entailed an about $3 million investment and the reasons why Angst ceased working with the Swiss company, the identity of which its CEO Sorin Minea would not reveal, are "we've had our differences." "The project is on stand-by for now because of certain differences. We may pull out but we have some other projects of our own," Minea said, who did not care to go into details about the above-mentioned differences. "The talks were confidential," he explained. The supermarket in Baneasa was supposed to take up 2,400 sqm and include a coffee shop and a beauty centre among others. Actually, the building belongs to the Swiss investor, which Minea says holds several five-star hotels abroad. Angst's role in the shopping complex would have concerned the foodstuffs segment only. As for the company's projects, Minea said Angst wanted to open at least five or six own stores this year. ZF
