Entrepreneurs who are able to develop businesses with fastgrowth rates need to become more visible, be genuine superstars,both in Romania and all over the world, because this can help themgrow even more and, in addition, it contributes to developing theeconomy by changing mentalities, believes Anne Habiby, co-founderof All World Network, an organisation that promotesentrepreneurship.
She was the special guest at the gala organised yesterdayevening by Ziarul Financiar and private equity company EnterpriseInvestors to reward local companies with the highest growthrates.
"In the 1980s, when the UK was in full crisis, on the edge ofthe precipice, the then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher broughtalong a few entrepreneurs, such as Richard Branson, wherever shewent, so they became important, genuine superstars. Thiscontributed significantly to exiting the crisis," Anne Habibysays.
All World is a non-governmental organisation, which discoversand promotes entrepreneurs from the United States and severalcountries in Asia. The organisation was set up in the United Statesthree years ago, with one of its partners being HarvardUniversity.
