Autumn's brands: Which companies invested hundreds of thousand euros in food brand promotion

Doncafe, Elit charcuterie, Măriuca dairy, Chio Premium Momentschips, Rom chocolate bar, Măgura cake, Kandia chocolate, Zuzu dairyproducts, Scandia, "Covalact de ţară" dairy products, DomeniileSâmbureşti wines or the Hapi Hap sliced bread are part of thebrands that have attracted investments of several hundred thousandor million euros in promotion campaigns this autumn.


"The sporadic corporate branding projects of the second half of2010 are related to companies owning FMCG brands or pharmaceuticalindustry brands. Also, in 2010 I've noticed a comeback of retailbranding. As for reasons, the rising need of the FMCG sector toreconfigure itself depending on consumers' obviously changing needsand habits is obvious," says Beatrice Daniş, a managing partnerwith BrandTailors strategic consulting and brand designagency.
She believes it is natural for the frequency of brand communicationcampaigns to be rising in the autumn period as there is a highermedia consumption now compared with other periods of the year.
