The All group, one of the largest players on the local book publishing market, whose majority stake is held by the Penescu family in Bucharest, forecasts a 4.7 million-euro turnover for this year, compared with 3.6 million euros last year, by consolidating its position on the segment of practical, hobby and business books, according to company representatives. "Our plans include preserving our position on medical and childcare books, history and educational books," said Gabriel Scinteia, CEO of the All group. The company publishes around 400 titles per year, while its market share amounts to 7-7.5%, according to company data. The group's main competitors are Polirom, Corint, Humanitas, RAO, Nemira, Paralela 45, Teora and Curtea Veche. Although the group does not operate through its own bookstore chain, the books are distributed in all major Romanian bookstores.
