Bosch, another 100 staff at call centre

German group Bosch hired 100 staff at its communication centre in Timisoara, with the number of employees currently standing at 375. Employees in this centre handle multinationals' outsourced operations such as accounting and bill collection. Bosch Communication Center, which has clients such as Orange, Alcatel Lucent and Oracle in its portfolio, was founded two years ago, through the takeover of Business Relations company. Since the takeover, when the company had 150 employees, up until now, the number of staff rose more than twice, and the turnover exceeded two million euros at the end of 2008. Business process outsourcing companies, which had set out to recruit around 1,000 staff in 2009, continued to be among the most dynamic employers in the economy. "Romania is a much cheaper country compared with Western Europe and the US, and its workforce is skilled, which is an advantage for the employer," said Cristina Postolache, national business development director at HR consultancy Inner Look.
