A final decision made by the Supreme Court of Justice on Monday acknowledged Compaq as the winner of the bid for computerisation of the health insurance system, while the National Health Insurance Office (CNASS) will urgently begin to put into practice the agreement concluded with this company.
According to a CNASS statement, the Supreme Court rejected the appeal filed in by SC Intracom-Hellenic Telecommunications and Electronic Industry against the sentence issued by Bucharest Court of Appeal, which acknowledged the outcome of the bid won by Compaq.
The Supreme Court's decision put an end to the daily losses caused in the health insurance fund, reads the same statement. Compaq won the bid for computerisation of the health system organised at the beginning of this year, after submitting the most convenient financial alternative.
The companies that lost the bid, filed in complaints, while Intracom subsequently initiated a legal action to contest the outcome of the bid. Mediafax
