Children are the new target of ski instructors and mountainpension owners who are this winter organising ski camps forpreschoolers and school children for tariffs starting from 318euros per week.
Florin Andrei, with a 12 years' experience as a ski instructor,is organising nine series of ski camps for children in Sinaia thiswinter season, during the December-late April period.
Andrei owns Sport la Monitori company of Sinaia, set up thissummer. "In 2009, we decided to focus more on organising children'scamps, now representing half of our business. We're also focusingon individual ski lessons, outdoor event organisation, trips,alpinism," Andrei said.
Sport la Monitori works with six ski instructors. The cost of aone-week ski camp stands at 1,295 RON (308 euros).
In Straja resort of Hunedoara county, Mihaela Huda, the manager ofa villa and a chalet says she expects the ski camp she isorganising to attract almost 100 children, amid a rising demand forski lessons.
"Ski camps are just a travel package of our company," says MihaelaHuda, the daughter of the owners of Vest Week-End company.
A children's ski camp costs 1,335 RON (317 euros).
