Dacia cars have climbed to the third position in the ranking ofthe most reliable cars in France for the first time, according toan analysis by UFC-Que Choisir publication, reports Le Figaro,cited by Mediafax news agency. The first two positions are occupiedby two brands of Japanese group Toyota, Daihatsu, with a 96.2%reliability index, and Lexus, with 94.13%. Dacia was rated 92.61%for reliability.
Dacia Logan MCV, a station wagon whose versions that can seateither 5 or 7, has made an impressive debut, climbing to no. 2 inthe family cars ranking, behind Honda Accord. Dacia ranks first inthe ranking of automobiles entailing the lowest maintenance andrepair costs - 130 euros per year, as opposed to Mazda (229 euros)and Ford (230 euros).
The Romanian carmaker is controlled by French group Renault.
