Ford is expected to start daily cargo flights to Craiova Airport in mid-March in order to deliver equipment to Automobile Craiova, after the company conducted an audit of the airport. Alongside cargo flights, the group's officials also intend to introduce two flights a week to fly in specialists. "We have met with Ford representatives, and I would like to make it clear to any sceptics, Ford will definitely come to Craiova, and has asked that Craiova Airport operate two flights, to bring over Ford representatives. Ford's representatives will be brought from Cologne and London every Monday, and flown back on Friday," said the representative Dolj County Council, Ion Prioteasa. He added that a company owned by American manufacturer Ford Aviation had conducted an audit of the Airport, and, in parallel, a company within the Transport Ministry, had conducted another audit.
