The EBS group in Cluj-Napoca , a provider of integrated softwaremanagement solutions (ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning), plans topost a 15% higher turnover this year against the level budgeted in2010. EBS expected an overall turnover of around 6.7 million euroslast year, 12% more than in the previous year.
"We are optimistic about the performance of the EBS group in2011. We have a large number of ongoing sales processes, and arealso preparing to tap into a new market segment," Daniel Metz, CEOof EBS Romania, told ZF Transilvania, without providing additionaldetails.
EBS will continue to recruit this year, with the companyintending to hire around 120 more staff, and end 2011 with around500-strong team. The EBS group consists of EBS Romania (softwaredevelopment on an order basis) and EBS Consulting (business andmanagement consulting) and has three offices in Cluj-Napoca , aswell as subsidiaries in Sibiu and Brasov .
Representatives of the Cluj-based company say economic recessionin Western Europe is over, and that 2010 was a very good year forEBS's exports, but similarly weak to 2009 for the Romanianbusiness.
