The Emerson group, dealing in engineering services, will invest up to 125 million euros in building five plants in the industrial park Tetarom III in Cluj, with company officials estimating the whole project will be completed within four years at the most, after the investment was initially scheduled to be conducted over five years. The plants in Cluj will work both for clients in Europe and for clients in the Middle East, with the number of employees to reach around 2,000 when the project in Cluj starts operating at full capacity. "The construction of the third plant will take around 10 months, with the biggest division of this new facility being that dedicated to electric equipment for hazardous environments. This division is already present in Cluj, and they currently intend to expand," said Calin Banciu, general manager of Emerson Romania.
