Italian truckmaker Iveco sold 888 brand new commercial vehicles in Romania in the first six months, a little more than in the year-ago period when it sold 850 vehicles. "However, we will see a slight decrease in sales this year compared with the previous one," said Cristian Helvig, Iveco's country manager for Romania. According to Helvig, the Italian company will sell 1,800 vehicles this year, a bit fewer if compared with the 1,900 units sold in 2002. Under the circumstances, Iveco sales in Romania will reach 30-35 million euros, compared with 38 million euros last year. ZF
