JLL: 2007's deal volume could be matched this year

25.08.2008, 18:41 7

The volume of real estate transactions recorded last year, worth almost 2 billion euros, could be equalled this year, since many ongoing transactions could be completed by the end of 2008, according to Charles Krick, associate director, head of capital markets of real estate consulting company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). "This year continues to be a good year, compared with what was going on two or three years ago, and by the end of the year, we could see the same volume of transactions as in 2007," according to Krick. JLL was involved in two of the biggest office building transactions in Bucharest - the sale of S-Park for 105 million euros and of the America House building for 120 million euros, but this year, the company has not been involved in any major transactions, as deals became scarcer.
