Dairy producer La Dorna, acquired this year by French group Lactalis, has a new marketing manager since this month, Geanina Babiceanu, who comes from the producer of Chio potato crisps. Babiceanu, 36, a graduate of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (ASE), had been the marketing manager of Intersnack Romania for four years and a half, a company whose portfolio includes brands such as Chio Chips and Pom-Bär. "Geanina was our employee until December 1st of this year," said representatives of the crisps producer. Previously, she had been part of the Kraft Foods team for three years as brand manager of Poiana chocolate brand. Before that, she was account manager of market research company AC Nielsen for over a year. Babiceanu will be the company's first marketing manager, while before, Jean Valvis, previous owner of LaDorna, was also in charge of marketing operations. Lactalis did not wish to comment on the appointment of the marketing manager.
