Sibiu-based plastic packaging manufacturer Greiner forecasts turnover worth approximately 25 million euros in 2007, up almost 30% on last year, when it registered 18.9 million euros, after it became a supplier for Tnuva Romania, Cumpana, La Fantana and other companies this year. "We will end 2007 with turnover worth almost 25 million euros, up 25-29% on 2006, an increase due to new clients and to market growth," said Lucian Ocos, sales manager of Greiner Packaging. Greiner Packaging and Thrace Greiner group last year attracted new clients, such as water distributors Cumpana and La Fantana, the maker of decorative paint and ink for printing and packaging Druckfarben, dairy producer Tnuva, and Teletext, which complement the portfolio of companies for which it was already a supplier, such as Danone, Albalact, Friesland (dairy industry) and Koeber and Henkel in the paint industry. Greiner set aside 3.7 million euros in its budget for investments in automation and to increase production capacities this year. "We invested 2.2 million euros in automation and upgrades and 1.5 million euros in increasing production capacities," Lucian Ocos stated.
