Businessman Dinu Patriciu, the CEO of Rompetrol group, who has an estimated fortune worth 3 billion dollars, has become a shareholder in the company that holds the Heritage restaurant, also known as "the bankers' restaurant", because of the profession of the majority of shareholders. Patriciu paid 500,000 euros for a 30% stake in Heritage and became the majority shareholder, according to sources close to the deal. Patriciu became a shareholder following a capital increase. Unfortunately, the businessman could not be contacted by the time this issue was ready for print. Dinu Patriciu may turn the Heritage restaurant into a cultural centre and could use the venue to host art auctions in the future. The second largest shareholder in Heritage after Patriciu is Dan Pascariu, chairman of the Board of Directors of UniCredit Tiriac Bank, with 12% of the shares. Dinu Patriciu's entry as a shareholder takes their number to 23 in a list that includes Robert Rekkers, CEO of Banca Transilvania, Anca Ioan, CEO of Tiriac Holdings, Rasvan Radu, executive president of UniCredit Tiriac, and George Butunoiu, a well known head hunter and initiator of the Heritage project.
