Ion Iliescu, Traian Basescu and Adrian Nastase are almost equally invested with citizens' trust. Iliescu is credited with the trust of 54% of voters, 53.3% favour Basescu, while 52.1% would rather go for Adrian Nastase, according to a CSOP poll released on Wednesday. The governing party, PSD, is still the undisputed leader, with 51.1% of voting intentions, although it has lost almost four percentage points since April. The ruling party is followed by PRM (14.6%), PD (10.7%), PNL (8.7%) and UDMR (6.9%).
