Road passenger carriers increased the number of coaches comingfrom Spain, Italy, as well as from Germany and Austria aroundEaster holidays, as part of the Romanians working abroad returnedhome.
Carabulea maintains that so far in April almost 47,000 Romanianshave been transported to and from Romania, up 15% from the samemonth of 2010.
Dragoş Anastasiu, owner of Eurolines company, in turn maintainsthat owing to Romanians returning home on Easter the number ofpassengers carried to Romania has almost doubled against a normalperiod.
"Romanians also sent more parcels during this year's Easterholidays than last year. Almost 30% more parcels were transported,"Carabulea stated.
