Cluj-based Sinterom, which is part of Serviciile Comerciale Romane (Romanian Commercial Services Group) is to supply the first products for the Logan cars to be made outside Romania this year in Iran, Morocco and Colombia. This means Sinterom will be joining the rest of the suppliers of the entire Renault Group. "We are now in the position where every factory in the Renault Group can call on us for certain products," Marcel Leonte, the company's general manager, told ZF Transilvania. He announced that the company was expecting sales of 7 million euros this year, 14% up on 2004. In terms of its co-operation with Renault, this year the Cluj-based manufacturer expects to produce 130,000 parts for the Logan model, with a number of 250,000-300,000 pieces expected by 2006. ZF
