Siveco, the biggest Romanian software producer, with nearly 61million euros in turnover in 2009, has this year pursued a policyof expansion on foreign markets, sealing contracts with publicinstitutions in countries such as Turkey, Morocco, Azerbaijan andthe United Arab Emirates.
"In 2010 the share of revenues contracted directly by Siveco fromprojects with national and international public institutions is ofaround 44%. Of the 44%, 27% come from ongoing contracts in Romaniaand 17% from international contracts," Irina Socol, president andgeneral manager of the company, told ZF. Siveco has sealed morethan 100 new contracts this year in Romania as well as abroad,where it has contracts on segments such as eLearning andeHealth.
