Sky Gate Hotel, located near the Otopeni airport, expects to post over $2m turnover in 2003, up 33% from last year and about 10% more in euros. The forecasts voiced by the hotel officials, much beyond the current average of the market, are reasonable, as the hotel opened in the fall of 2001 and 2002 was its first operating year. "The evolution of turnover is due to our consolidated market position, considering the hotel opened quite recently," general manager George Opris said. "Operating revenues doubled as compared with last year," he added. ZF
