Viessmann expects 42m-euro turnover this year

27.08.2008, 19:09 11

Viessmann, one of the leading players on the local boiler market, estimates it will post turnover worth 42 million euros this year, up by around 10% to around 38 million euros in 2007. According to Viessmann representatives, the increase is correlated to that of the entire market, which is now seeing the sales level back to normal, after the peak reached 6-7 years ago, following the wave of disconnections from the public heating system. The Brasov-based company puts the value of the local market of household and industrial boilers at over 250 million euros in 2008, after it exceeded 230 million euros in 2007. "The sector of new constructions in Bucharest and outside is driving the market up, with a second growth factor being the demand from consumers who could not afford a boiler up until now," Valentin Nan, marketing consultant for Viessman told ZF.
