Bosch and Honeywell boost Compa's turnover

22.01.2004, 00:00 9

Automotive parts maker Compa Sibiu will witness a strong sales growth this year from 990bn ROL ($30 million) in 2003 to 1,700bn ROL (more than $45 million), due to the contracts closed with international groups like Koyo, Bosch and Honeywell, Compa's chairman Ioan Deac told Ziarul Financiar. All three contracts were signed for production of automotive parts or subassemblies and began in 2003. The impact on the turnover will start showing this year. "I cannot tell you what kind of parts we are making for each company exactly, but I may say we have invested a lot (several million dollars i.e.) over the last twelve months to be able to meet the quality requirements of the three companies. We will keep investing at the same pace in 2004, " Deac added. ZF
