22.12.2004, 00:00 8

Broadhurst investment fund will participate through a number of companies it owns in a capital increase performed by Libra Bank, to which it will contribute 110bn ROL (2.9 million euros). The share capital of the bank should therefore reach 660bn ROL (17.1 million euros). The increase will be conducted in the first quarter of next year. The representatives of the New Century Holdings, the company that manages Broadhurst did not care to specify which companies of the group would participate in the capital increase of the bank. Milling and bakery company Vel Pitar, however, has already called a General Meeting of Shareholders to debate participation in Libra's capital increase. The other Libra shareholders include harbour operator Romportmet Galati, two electrical engineering companies: Electroaparataj and Imsat and five companies that own commercial space: Romarta, Metex and Valmetex, Winmarkt and Winmarkt Beta. Libra Bank completed another capital increase operation worth 106bn ROL (2.7 million euros) in mid this year, with the share capital then upped to 506bn ROL. ZF
