Bucharest offices, 22nd most expensive

Bucharest is 22nd in the world in terms of the office space rents, with 363 euro/sqm a year on the average. London is the most expensive place to rent office space, with 1,478 euro/sqm a year, a survey of Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker shows. The report specifies Bucharest has dropped three places compared with last year given that the office space rents in 2002 went down 7% worldwide, while rents in Europe shed 5%. The highest office space rents besides those in London, are those in Tokyo - 1,104 euro/sqm/year and Paris - 961 euro/sqm/year. Other top ten most expensive cities in terms of office space rents are New York - 770 euro (Midtown area), Moscow - 729 euros, Frankfurt - 685 euros, Stockholm - 636 euros. The most expensive city in the whole Central and Eastern Europe is Warsaw, where companies have to pay 525 euros/sqm/year on the average. ZF
