PVC carpentry manufacturer Corina Gealan has become part of the Amvic Group this year, which comprises a number of companies operating on the constructions market. "The new group, which comprises nine companies, including the former Corina Gealan, was established this year in order to expand the business in the constructions field," Marin Crutescu, general manager of the Amvic Group told ZIARUL FINANCIAR. Crutescu is the founder of the former Corina Gealan. The Amvic Group expects 11 million euros in 2006, an increase of 45% on the turnover this year, according to company officials. Amvic invested 2.6 million euros in a production facility for insulated concrete forms in the Bragadiru Commune (Ilfov County) this year. The investment is part of a 9 million-euro plan that will be completed in 2009. The new factory makes forms under licence from Amvic System Canada. "We bought a 900,000 square metre plot of land on which we have already built a production facility that takes up 2,000 square metres. The factory will come to take up 8 to 10,000 square metres by 2009," Crutescu specified. ZF
