The Court of Accounts will look into the privatisation process of the Romanian Tobacco National Company (SNTR) after the transaction is completed, the Court of Accounts chairman Dan Drosu Saguna said yesterday. "The privatisation procedure is more complex in the case of SNTR, as a large part of the documentation needs to be finalised. Once everything is completed, we will launch a probe into the matter, as the law stipulates," Saguna said. The Privatisation Authority (APAPS) concluded a sale-purchase contract with the Tobacco 2003/UE consortium in mid July last year for a 56.4% stake in SNTR. ZF
