Plastor Oradea made 32.7 million RON (9 million euros) in turnover in the first half of 2005, 40% up on the same time last year when sales reached 23.3 million RON (5.8 million euros). The growth is due to the development of component manufacturing for industrial use, a sector where Plastor works with Dacia-Renault and Electrolux Group, as well as the development of an entirely new segment, the manufacturing of lawn mowers for German company Brill. "We have seen an increase in turnover from component manufacturing of 60% since the same time last year," said Ion Seres, Plastor''s general manager. Plastor makes plastic components for Electrolux cookers and blown components (ventilation and heating ducts, and tanks) for the Dacia Renault Logan. Its contract with Brill involves manufacturing preparation, the manufacturing of plastic components and the installation of finished products. Plastor expects its turnover to exceed 14 million euros in 2005, an increase of 15% on 2004. ZF
