Daw Benta, based in Mures county, a member of the Daw&Caparol group, a varnish and paint producer, estimates it will post a 21 million-euro turnover this year, up by around 8% against last year. The company ended the 2006 - 2007 financial year with 19.5 million euros in overall sales. "The growth forecast for this year largely has to do with the products manufactured and launched on the market in 2008," Remus Aurel Benta, general manager of Daw Benta Romania, told ZF Transilvania. Since the beginning of the year, the company has posted a 32% turnover increase against the same time last year, with the biggest increases being recorded by Carpatec thermal-insulating systems and by Dalmatina polystyrene. Last year, the company completed works to expand its headquarters in Targu-Mures and established a logistical centre in Bucharest, which will supply the South of Romania and Bulgaria.
