For the first time in the history of Automobile Dacia, the modelwith the highest production is also the most expensive one in theoffer of the Romanian brand. Production of the Duster SUV, whichcosts between 10,950 and over 18,000 euros, VAT included, exceededSandero production in September. This is the first time that theB-segment model loses the leading position both in terms of thenumber of cars assembled, and in terms of price. With the averageprice of a Duster being above 15,000 euros, double as much as thatof a Logan or a Sandero, Automobile Dacia's turnover will see anaccelerated turnover growth, and will most likely reach around 2.5billion euros this year, according to ZF calculations, comparedwith a little over 2 billion euros last year.
Gică Popescu persuades Jolidon and Polisano to come to Rahovabazaar

Former footballer Gică Popescu, 43, who has invested togetherwith two partners 10 million euros in a bazaar-type shopping centreclose to Rahova market, has persuaded Jolidon underwear maker, aswell as Polisano, which operates Reţeta drugstore chain, to come toDoldora bazaar, where rent for a 6.3 square-metre stand is 190euros. "Nearly 90% of the bazaar has been rented out. At the end ofOctober tenants will come to set up their stands in the Doldorabazaar," said Marius Valentin Roateş, one of the three shareholdersof Doldora Capital, which develops the bazaar. Gică Popescucontrols 25% in Doldora Capital, while Marius Valentin Roateş andGeorge Şaguna each hold 37.5%. Doldora Bazaar, located on the plotthat used to accommodate Fabryo Corporation paint plant, is beingdeveloped on an overall area of 12,000 square metres, based on themodel of low-priced shopping centres IDM, Sir and DragonulRoşu.
