Ecco Group, dealing in constructions and installations, posted 200bn ROL ($6 million) turnover last year and expects 270bn ROL in 2003. The most important company in the group, Energi-Co Holding SA, supplier of heating, air conditioning, sanitary and automation systems, posted 100bn ROL ($3 million) turnover in 2002, up 3% in real terms since 2001, Mircea Popa, owner of the company and majority shareholder of the Ecco Group says. "Energi-CO SA posted 50bn ROL turnover in Q1 this year, compared with the 35bn ROL in the same time last year. The growth is due to broadening our core business, by including projects undertaken as general contractor," he explained. ZF
