03.04.2006, 00:00 10

Euro-GSM, one of the main retailers of telephony products and services in Romania, a partner of Orange, acquired Digital GSM, a network of 23 stores specialised in selling mobile telephony services and products. After its contract as an Orange dealer was transferred by Frontera SRL (Digital GSM''s owner), based in Targu-Jiu, the Euro-GSM network reached 111 outlets, having now become the biggest telephony retailer in Romania. The company officials did not wish to specify the sum that the acquisition amounted to. "We signed a non-disclosure agreement, therefore we cannot disclose financial details," Silvia Fodor, Euro-GSM''s manager told ZF. Euro-GSM officials say the takeover is part of the company''s expansion plans, which included opening 30 new stores in 2006. As a matter of fact, the company inaugurated three stores in the first three months of the year. ZF
