Finans International Leasing will change its name to Credit Europe Leasing in March, with Finansbank Turkey and the Finans brand being taken over last year by the National Bank of Greece. The Finans network, still owned by Fiba International Holding NV, made up of financial institutions in Romania, Russia, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Ukraine, will operate under the name Credit Europe. Representatives of Finans International Leasing said the change in the name of the company would not entail modifications in terms of the shareholders or of the management team. Finans International Leasing last year financed contracts worth 120 million euros, 160% more than the level experienced in 2005. The company has a 3.8% market share and completed 3,400 leasing contracts last year.
