GreenForest to expand capacity

13.01.2005, 00:00 6

Timisoara-based Furniture maker GreenForest generated turnover of more than 2 million euros last year, up 45% on 2003, according to chief executive Cristian Florea. "2004 saw GreenForest's turnover increase by around 45%. Turnover for 2004 exceeded 2 million euros, against 1.5 million euros in 2003. The main reasons for the growth were the sales in the Transilvania area and Bucharest. The end of 2004 also saw the launch of the Natura brand on the Bucharest market through the showroom at the new Home & Design Mall," said Florea. GreenForest's plans for 2005 include investing in increasing capacity at its factory located close to Timisoara and consolidating its position on the Bucharest market. "We will rearrange the showroom in Bucharest in 2005 and invest in new equipment for the factory. Our goal for 2005 is at least 20% growth in our turnover, meaning we are aiming for a turnover of 2.6 to 3 million euros," Florea added. ZF
